Tip # 40 Meal Fillers

An easy way to save money is to add fillers to your meals.

I can roast a whole chicken and get 2 to 3 dinners out of it by adding other things to the plate.

Some great fillers in our house are: rice, pasta, potatos, beans, cornbread with corn baked in it, and veggies. We get the protein we need from the meat, and also get a full tummy from the fillers!!
