My husband and I would buy bottled water for years. The tap water in my city tastes nasty, for lack of a better word. Several years ago I added up how much were spending a month on water and was amazed! Lets just say we like drinking water!
We decided to invest in a Pur water filter. It attaches to our faucet in the kitchen and has a knob we turn when we want filtered water. I think we paid $30 for the unit at Target and pay about $10 a month on the charcoal filters. This is well under the amount we were paying for gallons of water from the grocery store. And, we can take the filter off any time we want. It is very convenient.
So, next time you are buying gallons of water at the grocery store, think about how much you could save by purchasing a filter instead!
Happy Saving!!
