I have loads of things rattling around in my brain when it comes to saving money.
One of those things is envelopes. I get TONS of mail every week. And within that mail is usually an envelope or two or a few! I used to throw it all in the recycle bin, but then one day I decided to use them!
All I do is carefully undo them at the seams and turn them inside out. Then I glue them back together ! They usually have a pattern (security feature) so you can't see what's on the inside. I think it looks better on the outside!
Then, when I go to mail a letter, I just tape or glue the envelope lid shut! Oh, and you can use a label over the clear window for the address, or you can tape a piece of paper on the inside at the window. Either way works.
They are just so unique, and they save you money too!!
