I went with my parents today to get groceries at the commissary and got some great deals for next week. I combined sale prices with coupons and saved sooooooo much money!!!
spaghetti sauce 69 cents each (sale price)
spaghetti noodles 25 cents per box ( on sale for 75 cents per box and I used $1 off 2 coupons!)
stick sweet cream butter $1.89 per 1 pound box ($2.39 and I used 50 cent coupons)
Oatmeal - 42 oz for $1.50 (sale price)
Gallon milk for $2.48 ($1.30 cheaper than most grocery stores)
Hamburger meat $1.40 a pound ($1.50 a pound cheaper than most grocery stores)
I purchased a lot more, but they were mostly the same prices I would pay at the grocery store.
Although I spent most of next weeks budget ($30), I got some great deals that I can pass on for the next 2 months (because I bought a lot!!)
So.....don't just stick to one grocery store. You may find some great deals at other stores you just can't pass up!!
Happy Saving!!
