There are ways to get things for free or for very little money. For example:
My husband works with a lady that makes dog cookies. She gives us cookies in exchange for my hand made cat nip toys. It is a very good trade considering we have 3 dogs that love treats!!
My parents and I swap movies all the time. If we get a new movie we let them borrow it, and vise versa. It saves us from spending $4 per rental at Blockbuster!
I also trade the free and almost free stuff from CVS with my neighbor. She lets me use her craft store discount in exchange for my CVS items. Well worth the trade!!
So, before you just go out and buy something, see if any friends or family can lend it to you, or trade with you. It could save you money!
