For about a year now, I have been sewing sleep pants and shorts for my son. With the myriad of patterns out there, not only is hard to choose what pattern to get, but also the cheapest.
I frequent 3 craft stores in my town. The first is Walmart. They have patterns at 50% off all year round. I also like the seasonal prints they carry. The second is JoAnne Fabrics. They have patterns at 40% off. They also have a better selection of pattern brands and fabric. The third is Hobby Lobby. They only carry McCalls and Simplicity, but they are on sale 50% off all year round as well.
How do I choose? Who has the best sale?? Hobby Lobby puts their Simplicity patterns on sale for 99 cents each about 3 times a year. You can't beat that! JoAnne's will put theirs on sale for $1.99 occasionally. I have purchased some last minute patterns this way.
Another great place to look is Ebay. There are tons of patterns to choose from there. I have purchased hard to find and out of print patterns this way.
So...stop paying $15 for those sewing patterns!
Shop around, you just may find a price you can't refuse!!
Happy Saving!!
