Tip #76 Childrens Gifts

Here are some inexpensive gift ideas for children.

Coloring Books - The Dollar Store has a great variety
Crayons
Stickers
Band aids - Get some with their favorite character on them
Craft Supplies - Kids love to be creative so hit your local craft store with a coupon!
Hot Wheels - Target has them for under $1 each
Hair Supplies - Girls love hair stuff and The Dollar Store has a great variety
Blank Shirts & Fabric Markers - Kids love to design their own clothing
Books - For those that like to read, this would make a great gift
Cooking Utensils - All children go through their pretend cooking phase. The Dollar Store has lots of utensils, and they are much cheaper than the children's cooking sets!

There are more, I'm sure, but these are just a few to let you know that you don't have to spend loads of money on your children. We spend about $25 on our son for his birthday, and he has always been happy with what he has received. The key is to find out what they like and get creative.

Happy Saving!!
