Tip # 46 Free Mulch

We used to rake up all the fall leaves and bag them for the recycle truck to pick up. We would then purchase about $30 worth of mulch every spring.

Not anymore!!

A few months ago my husband bought a leaf collector/mulcher at Home Depot for about $60. He uses it to suck up and mulch the leaves every month . We then use the mulch in the garden where it's needed. And, it will have paid for itself in 2 years since we don't need to buy mulch anymore!! And, my neighbors have offered up their leaves to 'help us out with our mulch needs'!! :0)
