The first Saturday of every month Home Depot has the Kids Workshop. They have some kind of wooden toy to create with the use of a hammer! My so LOVES to make things, so we have been taking him for several months now. They sometimes run out of sets, so get there before 10 am. The cool part for you is that it's free. The cool part for kids is that they get to make something all on their own!!
