My husband has lots of work samples in his SUV that weigh it down. He doesn't get very good gas mileage when he has all that stuff, but it's his job.
My car on the other hand....I seem to collect stuff in the trunk. It's the 'quick clean' thing I do. When my car starts to look a little like a junk drawer, I get a bag or box and clean it all up. Then, I throw it in the trunk. Its not food, just paper, sweatshirts, and my sons "lost" toys, so it must be ok right??? WRONG!!!!
Stop driving all that junk around!! Take it into the house and put it back where it belongs. You are spending money (gas money) carrying that extra weight. And with gas still a bit higher than usual, save yourself some money!!
