After Season Sales
Most of you know about Black Friday....the day after Thanksgiving. This is 'The Day To Shop' as some would say. All the stores have big sales for those looking to buy gifts for Christmas.
But, what about the sales for all those bags, boxes, and tissue you use to wrap those gifts???
I find that the best time to shop for supplies is after the major Holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Stores start off at 50%, then go to 75%, some go to 80%, then 90%. I love to waite for the 75% -90% range. Most would say there is not much left, but I always find something. Last year I found nice stockings for $ .30 a piece. And today I found 120 sheet tissue paper packs for $.79 (80% off). I also found an Advent Calendar that was originally $19.99, for $3.99 (80% off) !! That is cheaper than the materials I was looking at to make one.
The store also had loads of bags, boxes, wrapping paper, and cards all at 80% off.
So next time you think you will never find anything at 75% or 90% off, think about all those boxes, bags, and canisters you will purchase next year for the holidays. You may want to stop by and check out whats left. You could score big!!
