Tip # 18 Keep A Price Book

A great way to know you are getting the lowest price is to keep a list of items and prices.

Friday I went to my regular grocery store and forgot to buy butter. I know that it costs around $2.15 when not on sale. Today I went to the same named grocery store near my church (about 20 minutes from my regular store) and found it for $2.05. I know it was only 10 cents difference, but think about all those items you could be saving 10, 15, 20, or more cents on! It all adds up! I keep a little pad of paper and pen in my purse so I can jot prices down. I also keep my grocery receipts in my purse to compare prices at different grocery stores.

Happy Saving!
