Tip # 9 Make Coupons Work For You!!

There are a lot people out there that use coupons, but don't get the results they want.

The key to using coupons is to use them with sale prices, and possible store coupons.

Here are a few examples:

1. CVS had Excedrin on sale for $1.99 a bottle. I had a coupon for $2.00 off. I paid: $.13!! Now, I didn't need any at the time, but I would rather pay 13 cents right now, rather than $3 later!

2. CVS had Fructise shampoo on sale for $2.99. I had a $1.00 coupon, and 2 CVS Bucks. I paid: $ .07!! I don't usually use this type of shampoo, but I am willing to try it for 7 cents!!

3. Target had Electresol Power tabs on sale for $2.66. I had a coupon for $2.25 off. I paid $ .41!! I usually use Cascade ($3.39), but for 41 cents...I am willing to try them!!

4. Publix had Peter Pan Peanut Butter on sale for $1.00. I had a $1.00 coupon. I paid: $0 !! I already have 2 jars of peanut butter, but I will need more in the future, and would rather pay nothing now rather than $2.00 later!!

It is great to use coupons the normal way. It does save money.

But it is even better when you can use them to get things for pennies or even free!!

Happy Saving!
