A great way to help save money is to plan your weekly meals. I have found this very helpful. I know exactly what I need to get at the grocery store for the next week. I try to stick to several low cost meals every week. Spaghetti is very inexpensive and a good filler. We have this twice a week. We also have a breakfast night. Eggs and pancakes are very inexpensive. I also roast a small chicken once a week. I can get 2 dinners and a lunch out of the one chicken.
Here is this weeks menu!
Monday: Chicken Salad Sandwiches, and Baked Beans
Tuesday: Spaghetti & Herb Baked Bread
Wednesday: Roasted Herb Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans
Thursday: BBQ Chicken, Corn Bread with Corn in it
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Spaghetti & Dinner Rolls
Sunday: Breakfast (Pancakes, Eggs, and Toast/Jelly)
